Yes, Sonny Stone is my real name. No, I'm not Barney Rubble's bowling partner.

I get asked a lot.

 

What do I do? I make advertising. I love it and I do it well. In 1998 I read 'Ogilvy on Advertising' and got hooked. Nine months later got my first agency gig. Six months later got laid off. Stuck to it, in both Montreal and Toronto, and had great years with JW Thompson, Groupe Morrow, Marketel-McCann Erickson, and Mitchel Shore Creative. Before advertising, I was a rock musician and owned a tropical bird pet shop. I am curious about everything.
